The Jade Room was created by a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law who share a love for traditional Asian Mahjong and the meaningful connections it creates.

What began as time spent around the Mahjong table quickly grew into a passion for sharing this timeless game with others. We believe Mahjong is about more than strategy—it's about building friendships, creating community, and preserving a tradition that has brought people together for generations.

Yes. Every beginner table has instruction.

Each round typically takes 15-20 minutes.

We teach and play an Asian version of the game. Not to be confused with the American version that is becoming popular, we do not play with cards and our rules are slightly different.
