About The Jade Room
We are a welcoming social club in Purcellville, Virginia, created to bring people together through the authentic tradition, strategy, and pure fun of Asian mahjong pop-up gatherings.
Honoring the original game
The Jade Room was born out of a deep passion for mahjong and a desire to share its roots with our local community. Unlike modern variations, we teach the classic Asian version of the game where it originally started. We guide you through the tiles, hands, and timeless flow in an easy, approachable way.
A lighthearted, welcoming table for everyone
Whether you have never held a tile before or grew up watching family matches, our pop-ups are open to all. We cultivate a light, upbeat atmosphere where learning is effortless and conversation flows naturally. Every table is a place to connect, unwind, and build lasting friendships.
Carrying forward a generational joy
Mahjong has gathered people around shared tables for generations, and our mission is to ensure that legacy of delight continues. We want every guest to leave with newfound confidence, memorable stories, and the spark to play again. Join us at our next pop-up in Purcellville.
